HopeBuilder Session

The Storehouse of Hope Community Land Trust  host "get togethers" inviting community member both to learn more about what we do and to share your feedback about our work and as well as ideas for the future.  Each event last just an hour including:

  • Networking with other community members, CLT Staff and Board members
  • Presentation on CLT history, big picture mission and current programs and availability
  • A resident's personal story about how their life changed with the CLT's support
  • Time for guest feedback and questions.

Annual Meeting & Community Dinner

This is the Annual Meeting of the Board of Directors for the Storehouse of Hope and the Storehouse of Hope Community Land Trust.  We will make our report to the community on the accomplishments of the year, make our Community Partner Award and extend our appreciation to our volunteers.  The meeting is open to the public and is free of charge.  The Annual Dinner is a ticketed affair.  Ticket price is $15.00 per ticket and maybe purchased in advance or at the door.

CLT Rake n' Run

A neighborhood spruce up for Community Land Trust Homes located in Council Districts 1 & 2. We ask volunteers to commit to three (3) hours on the 21st and help us spruce up the neighborhoods for our homes in these districts. We'll be coordinating work with Motor City Make Over and volunteers from within the district from the People's Platform.

Loving School Mobile Pantry

Mobile Food Pantry Day held at Loving Elementary School  (1000 Lynn Street, Detroit Michigan 48211) for residents of Zip Codes 48202 and 48211 only.  Participants will be asked to show proof of residency but no income qualifications will be required.  Distribution is on a first come first served bases.  Conducted in partnership with Storehouse of Hope and Gleaners Food Banks of Southeastern Michigan.
